Aldi CEO Giles Hurley advised opening hours would remain the same in the email update. What is more, shelves are well stocked and thanks to regular deliveries shoppers do not need shop in any other way than how they normally would. He also revealed that “everyone’s favourite Carrot” might be visiting stores as they begin to stock Christmas products.
CEO Mr Hurley went on: “Our shelves are fully-stocked and every Aldi store gets regular deliveries, at least once a day.
“There’s no need to buy more than normal, so please shop considerately.”
Safety measures are still in place there including traffic light systems at entrances to ensure social distancing in stores.
There are social distancing markers on the floor and protecting screens at all checkouts.
There is an increased contactless limit of £45 and shoppers are encouraged to pay by card.
