Eid al Adha, the holiest of the Muslim festivals, begins this week around the world. Billions of people will take the time to pray and eat together, all while donating to charity and helping the less fortunate. Those with practising friends in their life can add another dimension to the occasion by greeting them with event-centric expressions.
What is Eid al Adha?
Eid al Adha is considered the holiest of the Muslim holidays, one of two celebrated annually.
Much like the first Eid – Eid al Fitr – Muslims will celebrate Eid al Adha with food.
However, the occasion honours a different event from the pages of the Koran.
