Ghost Recon: Wildlands features plenty of weapons for players to unearth and here’s the location of the Vector .45 ACP submachine gun.
Here’s where to locate the Vector .45 ACP submachine gun in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands. The late Tom Clancy is best known as the author of bestsellers like The Hunt For Red October and creating the character of Jack Ryan, but his name has also become symphonious with video games too. The success of the original Rainbox Six games led to further titles bearing Clancy’s name, including Splinter Cell and The Division series.
The Ghost Recon games have been running for close to 20 years, with the first title arriving in 2001 for platforms such as PC, PlayStation 2 and the Xbox. The franchise has been running pretty consistently in the years since, including 2006’s Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. The most recent instalment was Ghost Recon Breakpoint, which received weak reviews for being a generic, uninspired shooter with a line-up of glitches and flaws, and was considered one of the worst games of 2019.

Faring much better was Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, which saw the titular team heading to Bolivia to take down a vicious cartel. Wildlands’ expansive open world and refined combat saw it receive solid reviews and it became one of the best-selling titles of 2017. There are plenty of weapons, attachments and upgrades located around the map for players to uncover, and here’s how to find the quite useful Vector .45 ACP submachine gun.
To find the Vector .45 ACP head to Media Luna, though some players may want to wait until that area opens up first. If not, stock up and be prepared for a fight, as it’s not the easiest weapon to obtain. Head to the F.O.B. Buitre base in Media Luna, which is loaded with soldiers. A stealthy approach is best, though there is an armored vehicle outside that can be used to plow in too. Head to the building dubbed “Armeria” and inside there’s a crate holding the Vector .45 ACP. The above video from GamerForEternity gives a handy guide to the gun’s exact location in the base.
The Vector .45 ACP is one of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands’ most useful submachine guns and is powerful with a high rate of fire. It’s definitely worth picking up, though care should be taken when sneaking into the base for it. There’s currently no word on when the next instalment of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon will arrive, but hopefully, Ubisoft has learned some lessons from the responses to Breakpoint and the next title will be a return to form.
