Melania Trump wore an eye-catching white coat as she attended Memorial Day events in Maryland and Virginia yesterday. She made a rare appearance during the coronavirus pandemic with her husband, Donald Trump.
The couple arrived to pay their respects at the Fort McHenry National Monument and at the Arlington National Cemetery.
Melania watched on as Donald made a speech and lay a wreath.
The US First Lady put on a classy display opting to wear head-to-toe white.
The former model is no stranger to designer looks and her ensemble yesterday was no different.
She wore a double breasted coat from Gucci, which is on sale for an eye-watering £2,210.
The wool coat has long sleeves and notched lapels and it cut off just below the knee.
Melania’s coat had six gold buttons down the front with gold detailing on the pockets.
She wore the garment buttoned up and a white skirt could be seen underneath when she walked.
Another post shared a selection of snaps taken during the visit to Virginia.
The caption read: “We lay this wreath to pay respects to all of our courageous service members & fallen heroes.
“You gave your lives for our nation & countless others around the world. You have served with honor & we thank you for your defense of our freedoms.”
During the coronavirus pandemic, Melania has not often been making appearances with her husband.

Her skills aren’t confined to print, and she appeared in a commercial for Aflac, an American insurance company, in 2005.
Melania’s parents are Amalija Knavs and Viktor Knavs, and the couple live together in Washington.
She has one sister, Ines, who is reported to live in New York and work as an artist.
On May 7 2018, Melania launched her flagship campaign as First Lady, BE BEST, which The White House describes as “an awareness campaign focused entirely around the well-being of children”.
There are three main strands to the initiative: well-being, social media, and opioid abuse.
